Membership in a fraternity and sorority can provide many opportunities to enhance your collegiate experience. The chapters in our fraternity and sorority community are represented by five councils, and each council has different processes for welcoming new members into their chapters.

Independent Greek Council (IGC) – Recruitment/Intake

Membership in Independent Greek Council organizations is at the discretion of each individual organization. IGC does not facilitate a structured recruitment process for these organizations. Interfraternity Council (IFC) – Recruitment

Formal recruitment will be held September 3-8, 2019. Registration will be available on June 1, 2019.

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) – Intake

Membership in Multicultural Greek Council organizations is at the discretion of each individual organization. MGC does not facilitate a structured recruitment process for these organizations. National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) – Intake

Membership in National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations is at the discretion of each individual organization. NPHC does not facilitate a structured recruitment process for these organizations. NPHC has a back-to-school event scheduled for Wednesday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Worth Hills. You can learn more about our NPHC organizations HERE.

Panhellenic Council (NPC) – Recruitment

Formal recruitment will be held August 17-25, 2019 with Bid Day on August 25, 2019. Registration opens June 1, 2019 and will be open until August 16, 2019.
