WHY: Fraternity and Sorority Life is pleased to announce that we are instituting a fraternity and sorority accreditation process for our community.  The idea behind this model emerged at our recent presidents’ retreat. We hope by setting up an accreditation process TCU is proactive in combatting the temptation to regress to the mean and that our organizations are motivated to continually improve. We also believe this model creates further transparency when it comes to chapter performance and expectations.

HOW: Throughout the Spring 2018 semester FSL students were given multiple opportunities to help create questions, point values, and provide input about the implementation of this program. Council Advisors have also provided regular updates to their respective councils about our transition to this model. The accreditation program will replace our old award program and process but will still provide an opportunity to recognize outstanding work in our community.

When: The Chapter Accreditation Program (CAP) can be turned in throughout the fall semester but is due December 5th, 2018 at NOON.
